Welcome to the website of the International Association for Citizenship, Social and Economics Education. Whether you are an existing member, or just visiting as a result of browsing, you are most welcome and I hope that you will find both the information that you are seeking and plenty to interest you in the work and network that is IACSEE. The areas of Citizenship, Social and Economics Education are major concerns of educators in all countries but these are viewed in a very wide sense by IACSEE members and not merely as discrete curricular areas. Rather they are seen as contexts that encompass all curricular areas and seek to highlight the enterprising, creative, cultural and spiritual dimensions, as well as the subject knowledge and skills, that flow from every aspect of learning and teaching.
The IACSEE network is a wonderful way of forging links with first class colleagues in Education, Teacher Education and related areas. There are opportunities in the Association for collaboration with, and support from, the friendliest group of people that you could wish to meet. All of these members enjoy the rich international environment that we have developed over the years and recognise the benefits and enrichment that this brings to us in the field of Education. We eagerly meet together at our biennial conferences and many members also get together on other projects and at other conferences. Our high quality International Journal receives submissions from members and interested academics from very many countries and I invite you to peruse the wide range of articles and authors detailed in the Journal Section of this site.
